On Friday February 17th at the Woodland Inn and Resort in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Tristate MMA/BJJ’s own Ian Brofsky will take on Phillip “The Fresh Prince” Rowe in the PA Cage Fight 2 as the co-main event.
Rowe has entered his professional career after a 6-4 amateur record. After two early losses (to Justin Lesko and Roberto Yong) Rowe is now coming off his first professional win defeating Jeremy Bethea via submission (rear naked choke). In the fight with Bethea, Rowe at 6’3” demonstrated good take down defense against his limited opponent. He utilized his superior reach to confused his opponent until he was able to take Bethea’s back and gain the submission.
Ian Brofsky has a 7-3 amateur record and a 1-1 Professional record. His father, Harry Brofsky, is an accomplished fighter in his own right, a BJJ brown belt and a UDS full instructor under Sifu Ralph Mitchell. Ian has the benefit of high-level instructors and is a versatile, strong, and agile fighter.
Ian will be added to the list of fighters that Trainscorner follows and updates our readers on. We expect another victory for Ian. Because of his well-roundedness he can end the fight is various ways but Trainscorner expects it to be by submission.
